We’re still not anyone’s radar due to early Q1 losses. We don’t have a jump off the page Q1 win on our resume. Both our current Q1 wins sit at 73 out of 75 (on the road vs UCF) and 30 out of 30 (home vs WVU) .
At KU, At WVU, and home vs Tech to close out the month is going to put us on everyone’s radar and the seeding/ranking will take care of itself.

They lost this past week. So they fell out of Top 10 for this week.
Great point. It is only due to historical achievements. This is a good example that these rankings still mean nothing. When we get into mid February then it is different. KU would tell you first hand they should not be ranked.
They’ll see when we crush them this Saturday. I don’t see a way Kansas stays with us.
Our lone holdout in Roanoke went from NR last week all the way to #12 this week. Must’ve been severely moved by WVU beatdown
Nice to see WVU get back in the rankings. I know they lost to us early last week but the win against ISU deserved to be rewarded.

They’ll be dangerous at Phog, they are in a must win situation to stay in the conference and top seed line hunts. We won’t be able to have a UCF type of performance, and squeak out. I fully expect them to come out playing well and it will be on us to match the intensity, weather the opening and begin exerting control.
But also if we have to split the roadies, I’d put more money on winning at Phog than winning at WVU.

I don’t think we’ll have a similar performance like UCF. Hopefully, by Saturday the virus/flu will have worked its way thought the team and they’ll all be healthy come this Saturday.
Agreed, just referencing mostly the 3 ball shooting. But overall we didn’t play great Saturday, unless the player’s last names are Roberts or Francis.
Just saying we will need to play well to win.

UNC is improving, Texas Tech should be ranked Top 20. Not a fan of either one.
