Really, I just want it to be the band melting our faces instead of the speakers. I bet the speakers are a lot cheaper, though.
Itâs our fault for not encouraging our kids, relatives, friends, dogs, cats, etc to attend UH.
Khator wasnât here during the SWC days but I can bet a number of fans were.

Rather than leave early I just wait about 10 minutes after game is over stadium is cleared out then by the time I walk to car itâs smooth sailing problem solved people are ridiculous lol
We need to figure our stuff out but I have to object at the Cincy hasnât been very good recently line. Theyâre only like 2-3 years removed from their best run in program history. So yah their fan base is pretty engaged. Theyâre also not bad this year.
Iâm with you. And the band is going to be there anyway, so the cost doesnât really factor in. ![]()
Playing non-conference games against teams like Grambling arenât going to offer much from a competitive football standpoint, but those schools bring their bands and that makes an otherwise boring game kind of entertaining. We need more of that and less of the electronic version.
You should not have to âfightâ for alumni support.
Where were we 3 years after 2015? That was the year we decided we fire coaches who go 8-5.
For that matter, we had a 12-2 season ourselves three years ago and never crossed 29k in home attendance.
2015 was a nice season for us. But it was a one off. When I say run, Iâm talking about a 5 year stretch where they went 53-10 under Fickell, sold out all of their home games, and won three conference titles.
Thats their best stretch in program history. 2-3 years probably isnât enough for even our little program to fall off from a run like that.
I think it was attitude leading up to the kick. So many things go complain about, all game long. Same offensive failures over and over.
Really oddâŠwe basically had no passing game but both TDâs were on passes. Crazy.
So there I wasâŠcomplaining left, right & sidewaysâŠeven on the the last driveâŠand then we win on the last play.
Was happy for the team, looked like a great celebration they got to haveâŠbut me and everyone around was likeâŠâthat was weirdâ.
Iâm betting those of us in this forum have been doing just that. With no result.
Biggest crowd for football in Astrodome was 63,001 (Oilers-Cowboys).
Seating Capacity Football â 62,000
Had an amusing one front row of 231 Saturday
Even when we lose we booze!!!
My friends that ARENâT alumni are more likely to join me than my friends that are engineering alumniâŠ
Idk why but itâs true.
Who won?
You are comparing us to teams that have been in a power conference from the very beginning while we have been wandering in the dessert for 30 years.

True but they have similar characteristics of being in large cities
