Maybe we should do a $5,000 giveaway to a fan at the 2:00 mark of each third quarter? You have to be present to win. That’s $30,000 for the season – an easy sponsorship. Maybe more people will hang around.

I like it. The fourth quarter give away. Must be present to win, make it on the field with the MC and give cash! Make it a big deal. You could probably get a sponsor for the $6,000 total. It could be our thing, like keys on third down or lights out in the fourth quarter. It could be 1 in 30,000 chance or better if people are leaving by 4th and you don’t have to fill anything out to win.
It might be embarrassing how many aren’t present.

Dumbest thread ever! Constant idiotic whining after a win. and that against a program that is favored over us and still has most of the talent on hand that made them one of the favorites to win the championship before the season started. In the waning minutes of a tie game, we come out and slam the door on their offense when they had their chance to win the game, then took the ball at our 25 and drove 50 yards in the final minutes against one of the best defenses in the Big 12 and kicked the winning field goal on the final play of the game after running the clock down. THATS how you win a game against someone with better talent than you. END of story.

Majority of us minorities are first generation grads and don’t come from old money.
We still have to go to work and take care of family after graduation weekend instead of going on a month long celebration vacation like rich kids at other schools.
Which is why you see us with season tickets for football or basketball but barely contributing to NIL due to lack to throw away money like at other P4 programs.
Our problems don’t disappear on graduation day.

told my wife about the Team Store, she was excited to check it out…what a disappointment, no AC, and very limited items, it’s like they didn’t want our $$$…i’m sure they’re working on it
correct - old money doesn’t allow new folks to touch old money - if someone new gets a great deal of wealth they’re ultra protective of it until it gets to the point where you are living off of it 2 generations down such as fertitta’s kids
you rarely see athletes who made it big really get involved in day-to-day college athletics - it’s the average fan who has access to wealth

It is a Spirit of Halloween, last week it was vacant and they were trying to rent that space out to a long term tenant.
