Best scout team QB in the nation

id like to see king with oklahoma’s oline and kyler behind ours before crowning a single thing you said.
kyler looked worse than king ever did when he was at a&m…he did not have 1 good passing game in like 8 games …and only had 1 good rushing game

all these “poor” passing qbs (Hurt, Murray) arent magically becoming elite in 1 offseason (2/3 months)

it’s also easy to be “comfortable in Oklahoma’s pocket”…they literally had its entire starting online drafted with murray…we didnt even touch hurts when we played them…king had some bad misses, but a ton of them he was running for his life when throwing (like the missed td pass vs tulane)

“good enough athlete to play baseball”…king is a good enough athlete to be a state champion track athlete…

kyle allen at houston (who looked less than stellar behind our OLine) has looked elite for a qb in his 3rd game in the NFL at 3-0
kyler murray who looked amazing behind oklahomas oline hasnt looked very good in the nfl

Guess we will find out next year !

Chad the AFA games was bad but only a 6-7 compared the UH/Notre Dame Ice Bowl which was a 10.
Per Wikipedia
With a high temperature of 24 °F (−4 °C), a strong 30 mph (50 km/h) north wind impacted both the subzero [wind chill] and the outcome of the game;[[10]1979_Cotton_Bowl_Classic all but seven of the game’s 69 combined points were scored by the team defending the north end zone.[[14]] Because of the weather, the stadium was less than half full in the first half and as few as 7,000 remained at game’s end.[[4]
The four bus loads of Royal Allen’s charter were there until the end. Took over 12 hrs to get back to Houston due to an icy I-45.

And Joe Montana, arguably the greatest QB of all time, was 13 of 34 with 4 interceptions in that game. He missed on 20 of his first 27 attempts. That’s the point. You cant seriously talk negatively about a player’s performance in conditions you don’t understand.

You all may be right. King would likely be much better in OUs offense. However, there’s only so many John Elway, Deion Sanders, and Bo Jacksons. Lots of football players are also track athletes. To say that Murray is the new rule, rather than the exception to the rule, I’d have to argue.
