I’m very happy that TCU won the rusted iron skillet trophy from SMU. The ACC is a conference where if you are not winning it, you are trying to get out of it for football. SMU and the California teams are square pegs, round holes in the ACC. If think SMU will have a tough time making the CFP this year.

2 years ago, 2! Okie State played in the conference championship game. Gundy has been hugely successful until last years 0-9 disaster. Cant believe they wont give him a little time to right the ship.

TWO ACC schools inside the top 10 and ZERO for the Big 12 in the new AP Poll.
Last year’s result of 2 ACC playoff spots and 1 for the Big 12 and 1 for the G6 may be reality every year.
We need many schools ranked inside the top 10 at the start if conference play. We have ZERO and if UH beats Tech we sneak into the top 25 and Tech free falls and they continue that narrative that the Big 12 is a 1 bid league.
How can you not see this?

BUT i think it better illustrates they don’t consider themselves “in” the big 12, per se. They’re happy to cash the checks, but mentally and spiritually they are an elite former member of a fictitiously superior pac12, who find themselves merely in temporary purgatory that is beneath them, and they are destined for their eventual forever home in the big ten with other elite teams of a superior character and makeup where they belong.

Is there a scenario where we could get 3? If Iowa State and Houston win out, they would play in the conf champ game, and potentially, we could have 1 Undefeated, and 2 1 loss teams. Houston, Iowa State, and Texas Tech…
