Why not? The American was willing to take Boise and SDSU years ago. I think theyâd love the optics of adding to âp5â programs. If they still harbor dreams of being a coast to coast conference OSU/WSU would be a no brainer. The only thing they should be kicking themselves for is adding Charlotte and UNT. Too many mouths to feed in that league.

Would be funny but I think Stanfords play is either ACC life raft or independent football combined with Big West Olympic sports. It doesnât seem like OSU/WSU have the first option and I donât think either program could pull off independence. So I think either the MWC or AAC is an actual possibility for them.
We should take the 4 leftovers bc then itâs basically a merger minus ucla , usc , wash and Oregon but weâre in control. Stanford is too good to pass up. We could take 4 then if sec and big go 24, we take 4 Acc.
Weâre leaving 4 pac schools out there that could be a problem. Mop them up then wait for 4 more Acc ones if that happens. Bird in hand is better than none.

On Friday morning, we were shocked when the University of Washington and the University of Oregon announced they had accepted Big Ten invitations.
Nevermind most of the college sports world predicted it the day USC and UCLA left.
