If Jizzle wants to improve his game he needs to find a (talented) team with a demanding coach (like Sampson for that matter). He’s picked up some bad habits playing at Cinci, being very sloppy and undisciplined at times. He needs someone that can help guide that out of him.

Let me clarify. I said a coach that’s demanding LIKE Sampson. I wasn’t actually suggesting he would come to Houston, or more importantly, that Houston wants or needs him.
I don’t think playing for Iowa State (our coach demands effort but sucks with demanding headiness and accountability) would be beneficial for James. He needs someone more cerebral, one that will reign him in a bit

No worries and wasn’t taking it as an attack at all. Upon the reread and your response, it was clear that I didn’t clarify the Sampson part of the response. He was just an example that came to mind when trying to think of a “demanding” coach.

Iowa “lingo” isn’t very difficult.
One thing to know though, is that many will refer to lunch as “dinner” (goes back to the midday meal being the biggest of the day for farmers). That will often trip people up.

Was literally just discussing this at work, crazy!
One of my coworkers calls lunch ‘dinner’. The consensus for the rest of is it’s gotta be lunch at noon and supper in the evening.
But if anything, dinner should be used a substitute for supper. Calling lunch ‘dinner’ is just hickish lol.
It’s like a lot of people say warsh instead of wash. Another common one in Iowa.
Grandparents throw in the “r” in wash. Drives me nuts.

Speaking of James, Florida seems like a potential fit for him. He’s from Orlando and Clayton (their starting PG) is a senior. Now, I have no idea what their roster/scholarship situation looks like, but I’m sure they’ll have the funds.
