The realist inside me says they are goung to celebrate with a 20 to 30 point victory tonight.
Iowa State has so many issues, yet Otz hasnt made obvious adjustments for any of them.

Looking at the schedule and standings, our #1 seed in the BIG XII tournament is lost. I just want to stay out of the #4 slot. That being said, Iām rooting for Arizona tonight. I donāt expect either Kansas to lose either of their last two games. We lose tie-breakers against ISU, KU and TT so we need to finish ahead of them. If we lose a game, we could end up 5th and only get a single game bye. Based on current standings Iād rather play a UCF/CU winner, TT, championship game lineup rather than a ASU/Baylor winner, ISU, AZ, championship game gauntlet.

Iowa state loses but they still above Houston in the polls.
ISU is 6th and UH 7th in AP poll. UH is 6th and ISU 7th in coachesā poll.

And to your point specifically, Iowa State is typically at its best in these spots.
Kind of depends how Arizona is treating this game. If they are looking at this one as pretty much in the bag in any sort of way, I could see this one being trouble for them.
Would kind of be hard not to, imo.
Look, NO ONE is more disgusted than me that we will NEVER win a Big 12 title this way. Wanna make that clear. Couldnāt be more upset
But zrf has been on one lately. I get why ppl are liking his posts, but with all due respect, heās flown about 3 bridges beyond the pale and officially lost the plot at this point.
Weāre the same team weāve always been, actually probably a slightly better version of the team weāve always been. We will be the same team next year, too. My frustration is that is not good enough for me anymore, not that weāve taken any semblance of a step back in the bigger picture, at all.
Entirely capable of winning this game tonight. We play better on the ropes, always have. Weāre a stinkinā unanimous top 4 seed, always are or there abouts. Thereās levels to this ****. I donāt hate this matchup at all. Anyone hoping/waiting for ISU bball under Otz to fall off the map is wasting their time.
Tech and Arizona could not be more different. Unless DellāOrso thinks weāre wearing Coog red tonight, Donovan Atwell and Big Game Petty arenāt jogging out that tunnel. Or my boy LeJuan Watts 
I do think Arizona wins tonight, and Iām definitely betting on that happening. But letās get real here. ISU has a fairly decent chance of winning this game, all things considered, based on everything weāve seen for years at this point.

I moved from LA recently after 25+ years there. I dare say some folks have no idea what ātrafficā isā¦ But I will say the last few times āhomeā (Houston) it is looking more like LA.

At times ZRF can be Eeyore like, but other times that ends up being the realist position.
