I don’t know, that Tulsa loss is a black mark and Oregon just hasn’t lived up to its billings. That squeaker against BSU and now this loss to OSU, I can see them dropping out of the top 25 but I don’t know about OSU getting into the top 25.

The top 4, BYU, Houston, Texas Tech, and Utah, are still the top 4, IMO, I just don’t know what order to put them in until they play each other…
I would call them “Tier 1”.

This week will tell us a lot if we are contenders or pretenders, this is a must win game for us, TT has a very weak schedule

TT is our kryptonite in football. We need to find a way to break through. Then maybe the dam will burst. Crossing fingers for a mighty effort. I think it’s the psychology of it that we have to get past. It would be a big confidence boost heading into the teeth of the schedule

I’ll bet the Coogs are more in their player’s heads than they are in our players heads.
But I understand how the fans may still doubt more than the Coogs themselves.
Seeing is believing.
It’ll be a Team with Talent and Public Opinion vs a Program with Culture and Momentum.
I’ll leave it up to others to decide who is who.

- BYU
- Houston
- Utah
- Texas tech
BYU, Houston, and Utah are the top 3 in whatever order. Tech a solid 4 after two weeks
I think the next group has K state and Arizona in it, but idk man…

If we were being honest, Tech, wouldn’t be on contender list.
Their QB play is average right now. Their defense isnt as elite looking as last yr. Maybe that changes

What Tech does have, is their schedule seems easier than ours.
Terrance Carter Jr. Athletic TE, his health will be key for Tech’s success

I don’t want to do a ranking until after the game vs. the tortilla tossers (it’s been a long 17 years). Yes I have faith, but I also had faith every time that we played them since 2009. I’m not a pessimist, I’m not a hater, I’m a realist.
Right now, I have BYU and Utah ahead of us because they’ve been quality teams longer than we have (history), with no opinion on texas tortilla high at the moment. I do not like them, I don’t like their fans.
