What was Bennett rated coming out of HS?

Top 30 in Texas.
Top 300 overall.
Just based on the rankings.
UH recruiting has been good since Kivett got there.
HS guys just barely get better or stink in that period is the issue.
Some transfers developed. Mostly pitchers despite coaching turnover.
Tough situation w Ace one of the bright spots.
It is encouraging that UH BB can get $20k together for the right guy.
He was #260 in the nation for all players.
If it is then we should see him sign elsewhere quickly….he had a good season, not great.
Would be pretty dumb to split without a better offer in hand.

I think Kivett does a good job of recruiting and hitting. I have seen worse hitting by our teams in the past prior to his coming on board.

If he is so good at recruiting why did we finish last in the Big 12? If he is such a good hitting coach, why did we hit .253 in the conference? I would say he doesn’t do a good job at either, and he absolutely sucks in the running game. If he was as desired as TW would lead you to believe, he’d of been out of here two years ago!

Until they get rid of TW, anything they do to try to improve the team next season (or beyond), is basically putting lipstick on a pig.

Well, what the hell do I know. Vitello is bringing Kivett back to Tennessee. To say I am shocked would be an understatement. I don’t think he will have a big impact but he will be at Tennessee. They already have elite players.
Pitching. And more pitching.
