Exactly! Also, pressure creates diamonds. We all should understand what happens when you just hand the starting role to a guy without giving him any competition. We don’t want another Donovan Smith/Zeon Chriss/Ui Ale situation. If we land Weigman, our 2026 QB room could be:
QB1: Conner Weigman
QB2: Keisean Henderson
QB3: Austin Carlisle
I’ll take that everyday and 7 times on Sunday.

Weigman has 2 more years? NICE…Bobcat, we have also offered Jenkins, 6-0, 190 soph QB for FIU…starter last 2 years who can run and also has 5000 passing yards and 41 TD passes his first 2 years. Its us or Louisville…

He did Sukie. That was the whole point of signing with Etonic. He wanted his shoes to be affordable. He did the same thing with Spalding. He was offered a ton more from adidas, nike and all the top brands.

Sneaker robberies are still a thing.
I’m currently prosecuting a case that involved a kid getting pistol whipped and robbed for a pair of Balenciaga sneakers.

Weigman and Henderson are not even in the program yet. Assuming they will be, maybe, maybe not, I am not sure Henderson leaps Carlisle in his freshman year, unless Carlisle has a position change. Carlisle will have one year of experience in the program in 2026. Henderson will come into the program with loads of potential at the college level but no experience. Let all the QBs compete and in Spring and see who the starter is.
Not the Etonics… just the Spaldings. Those Etonics rereleased in 2014 at $120.

Today is first day players can enter the portal. I don’t think there is a deadline to commit once in so it depends on the player making a decision. With that said, guys have to be enrolled at some point for Spring semester. Hopefully one of our resident insiders sends the signal! Lol
