Absolutely NOT! The only way he switches positions is if he transfers. Every major program wants him as a WR. We landed him bc we promised him the opportunity to play QB in his hometown. If CWF tries to switch him to WR, heās in the portal the next day.

For sure, but just like him flipping is a hypothetical, so is my scenario. Heās committed to us now, so Iām including him in my responses.
Why would he come here to play WR when thereās likely hundreds of thousands of dollars thatāll be thrown at him to play that position elsewhere? I mean, Iād like it if he stayed regardless of position, but lets be logical here.
Dont worry. Henderson is a great, athletic QB prospect and we are QB poor. Weāll welcome him as a QB with open arms in 2026.

Do you know how often college quarterbacks go down with injury? Zeon Chriss in the quarterback room next year makes us deeper and better overall regardless of whether or not heās the starter.
Besides if the Houston offensive line continues to improve at moving the people in front of them then Chriss gives you an explosive wildcat look to make defenses have to prepare for if nothing else.

Iām sure he knows by now. I canāt blame the kid for seizing an opportunity to play QB, but unfortunately for his QB career, AND fortunately for his NFL aspirations, the time has come for him to put on some gloves & a backflap. His flack jacket days are over.
Thereās nothing wrong with him being a full time WR, as well as the emergency QB if our top 2 guys get injured or whatever.
