There are plenty of portal QB’s available. Will we get Weigman? Can we afford him? That is the real question for me. Weigman wants to come to U of H? Well let’s go Conner. What’s the hold up?

If Weigman doesn’t work out, there are several other QB options becoming available.

Tulane’s Darian Mensah is great option and also Maalik Murphy just became available as well.

I think the level of competition is a legitimate question and Henderson will need a period of adjustment to the college game. I doubt Henderson would join the team and be QB1 from day one. He has the physical tools but will need coaching and time to develop.

He will weigh money along with opportunity. We have no idea where the plot lines intersect. He has representation. If it is good representation, they’ll look out for his true interests. If the reps want a bigger cut of the dough, they’ll strictly be looking for the cash. If that’s the case, we won’t have a chance to sign him.
