Learning under a veteran would be the best thing for Carlisle’s development. At best, Carlisle would be third on the depth chart, behind Chriss/Weigman, and McMickle. I keep saying don’t rule out Wijay and Sock.

Lol yes. I’d like to thank God that I’m not in charge too. I wouldn’t be able to say all the stupid stuff i post on here to media. I could still be right about this and not make the decision however.

So I guess w your analysis the reports are 
inaccurate that UH is in running for A&M QB transfer. Not saying that’s a bad thg bc honestly I don’t know if Weigman fits in w what CWF has done in the past. He had 2 excellent running QB’s at SHSU, the last being Brian Bell who’s now on his UH Staff, name escapes me but GA Southern QB ran Triple Option for him, then of course Pratt at Tulane. We shall see I guess.
Edit: And Weigman can def run but that was me seeing him against H.S. competition, so not good comparison to what he has to face now. Just not speedster by any means. Put him at avg in that category but very strong Arm , which is of course what got him Rated 5* coming out of The Bridgelands H.S.

I’ve been wondering about wijay, he’s got an arm from what I’ve seen
Difference is, we have Slade Nagle as the OC & Willie as the HC. Not Major Applewhite & Brian Johnson. You cant tell me that Weigman isnt a better version of Michael Pratt, who had a ton of success at Tulane.

He’s a true freshman. Don’t expect much and not fair to put that “savior” pressure on a boy who just left mom and dad.
We need a bridge QB that can raise the bar next year. Connor or someone like that could suffice.

We need a QB that can throw w strength & accuracy a 8-12 yd pass to the sidelines. Sounds simple but that was major struggle this year n majority of times avoided it by running on 3rd & 8.

Ask yourself this question. Is Weigman better than Donavan Smith & Zeon Chriss? If the answer is “yes”, then you go after him. It’s that simple. We have Austin Carlisle coming in so if Conner doesn’t pan out, we can always make the swap. But you dont go into your season without adding depth to your QB room
