Those points aren’t encouraging.
How will he do with weaker protection, inferior skill position players and lower quality coaching from a money pool hiearchy standpoint?

Stop, man. Your negativity on every post is getting old.
Nothing matters but money to many
Hah! Lower quality coaching to aggie? I DONT THINK SO! This year just another aggie football team that disappoints, does less with more and FAILS to live up to aggie expectations. Aggie actually played good defense in Texas game and even blocked a punt at whorn 20 yd line, but their offense, with Reed at QB rather than Weigman, was horrible, absolutely pathetic. And they lose to Texas again…Weigman’s passing might have made a big difference in this low scoring game…We will never know…Fritz’s team this year will be well coached and well prepared for our opponents and Weigman has a chance to be a difference maker at QB…Aggie is always the underachiever in these times…NOT Houston…
@UH1927 the SEC defenses Weigman faced are way more athletic, schemed better than Big 12 defenses.
So yes, UH O Line & weapons arent as good as A&Ms.
But, with good playcalling, you can keep Weigman healthy & efficient
He spent 3 yrs at A&M, instead of transferring out of state for a new start, stay local near family to keep that support system around him.
Per the money pool amount, yes.
We could never afford the Aggies’ coaching staff.
We couldn’t even afford to keep our DC for a 2nd year.
So…how do we expect him to lead us to a National Championships if he is afraid of upper tier defenses?
And YES he said his goal is to win a National Championship here.
Do we have a plan to make him that much better here.
Serious questions
“Inferior skill position players” and “lower quality coaching”
How would you know this?
You have proven you don’t know football….you are just throwing out non-sense….its hard to even take you seriously.
You’re post are either terrible or you are trolling……either way they are just a waste of time to read.
And you were openly calling on people to “get rid of pollardsvision”?
Good grief man.
Yes…i watched our offense last season which was the worst in the P4.
It wasn’t creative or fun to watch.
Do I need to show you the statistics as proof?
@UH1927 i dont expect a National Championship.
I expect 7-5 or 8-4 improvement next season
Against elite pass rush, you have to move well in fhe pocket and be very accurate
Weigman was not. So he got benched at A&M. New coach Elko, needed wins this yr
If hes not facing an elite pass rush in the Big12, Weigman can be more efficient
If he can succeed early, he’ll get that confidence back, maybe he can return to form. Im sure there’s some bad habits Weigman needs to fix
You are a lying troll….im not going to derail this thread with nonsense……feel free to IM me.
But openly saying this is absolutely wrong on many levels.
And that was rectified by firing Barbay. You need to start looking forwards and not backwards.
Yes…im looking at a path for us to win a National Championship here sooner than later
By pointing out our offensive issues from this past season? That’s the definition of looking backwards and not forwards.
Hey, this is not the place to insult each other. Take it somewhere else.
In case you haven’t noticed, we are having an exceptional off season so far. New OC, promising DC, top 10 transfer class….and we aren’t done yet.
Enough of the insults. Y’all take it to PM.
Obviously, i am putting a tremendous amount of faith in Fritz to turn this around very quickly.
We only have to win the Big 12 to get a spot in the payoff so we have Weigman for 2 seasons.
Like SMU, once you are in the playoff, there IS a path to win the National Championship.
Let’s win the Big 12 this year and/or next season and compete for the Natty!
By comparison, Arizona State was predicted to finish dead last in the B12 and they also have a path to a Natty!
Yes…ive been telling ALL OF YOU we will be one of the NIL powers once we get rolling.
Does anyone even read my positive posts…lol
The amount of people that toe the ESPN fed line of SEC dominance is unreal. If you dig into the numbers the canyon separating the SEC/BIG from everyone else is not nearly what the hype-sters would have you believe. With NIL, that talent gap lessens even more.
