Should have 14 or 15 spots left.
I imagine the next two weekends will be big for transfer commits. I’ll put the number at 5 more portal commits over the next week and a half.
Then we have the big run up to national signing day on the second of February. I think we’ll sign another 3 or 4 high school/Juco guys.
That will give us 5-7 open spots going into the summer for late qualifiers or guys that transfer after spring ball.
How I hope to see the spots shake out.
QB - 1
RB - 1
WR - 2
TE - 1
OL - 4
DL - 2
LB - 1
CB - 2
Safety - 1
OL is critical at this juncture. QB would be nice to have, but I don’t think it is a must. I think we need 1 more CB to come in and make an impact next year. And probably one more impact WR for next year.
Everything else is gravy and getting us ready for the transition to the Big 12.
