Redshirt junior this season. So with Covid should have 2 seasons left.

Lost a klein Cain hurricane in the portal and gained another.

You just never know with NIL around the corner. Those schools have moneyyy.

Just look at the basketball side… UH probably won’t land a 5 star center because mid schools like Indiana and Maryland have that NIL money.

So do we…among those schools, we probably easily had to bigger NIL pot.

Not really… We just joined the Big 12. Those schools been getting a big check for quite some time now. Is going to take coach Fritz a bit to reach those levels.

You know Baylor, Smu & TT have money. That doesnt mean they’re better than UH by a mile. UH has much better upside now that they joined the Big 12.

Give it a year.

I know how to solve the NIL problem. Every time someone on here references or complains about our school’s NIL or the lack thereof, they have to donate $10 to one of our collectives.

Baylor got the Mac champion, Toledo’s QB. Their starter left for Miss State.

I find a higher level of satisfaction when UH signs OL and DL that physically compare to other P5 competition.

Joining the Big 12 has nothing to do with NIL.

NIL isn’t conference payout…it’s based on funding from alums/donors/corporations.

I know Baylor is really struggling with NIL because they are a small religious school in a small city.

They can only ask Chip and Joanne so many times.

The others…UTSA and Pitt are not bigger NIL schools than Houston

Baylor has Drayton McLane, former owner of the Astros. He’s their Tilman Fertitta.

Pretty sure Paul Foster-- Baylor Alum- ‘79’ is the largest donor Alum. In 2013 he gave 35 mil to help build the College of Business bldg. Then in 2019 or so he donated 100 mil to get the on campus Arena named in his honor ( opened this week) built.

Yes…and they are still struggling with NIL.

They are worse than us.

Mack Rhodes was on 365 discussing how far behind they are in the NIL race.

those guys at Baylor Mclane, Foster and Gaines can do NIL deals with players….fertitta is on our board so that probably makes him part of the University…so any money couldn’t come from him directly……that’s why we need more NIL bucks from elsewhere
