Also always a fair thing to say… Lunardi is like king of bracketology trash piles
If it happens in NCAA ESPN basketball bracketology in January, it’s a prelude to March bracketology. Just like NCAA football pReSeAsOn RaNkInGs in August (that places Tennessee and Missouri in some off-the-wall rankings) are a prelude to season-long arguments of who belongs there in November. Apples to apples comparison.

BYU’s only loss is to the 4th 1 seed by 2 points in their back yard.
Well apparently ISU losing means UConn and Duke move up to 3 and 4
Oh, and Michigan is still ahead of ISU
…so there’s that ![]()
The bias is real. Having Purdue ahead of us after getting blown by you guys at home is rediculus.
In every metric that matters to the committee Purdue is ahead of us right now. How is that bias?
Here’s a fun one… he does have ELEVEN Big 10 teams ![]()
So the best conference in US by any metric only gets 7 teams in ??
A 30 point loss at home should have it’s own metric, not better than losing to a ranked Tennessee team in Vegas. When Nebraska is your best team, your conference is weak, but they have to put B10 teams up there.
not great but compared to the fox one i just saw it still looks good ![]()
thats not how bracketology works but thanks for your 2 cents. ignoring the metrics and analytics that the committee uses is a fool’s errand.
if the top 5 (6 if you still believe in KU) keeps dominating the rest of the B12 its gonna be tough to grift our way to 9+ bids ![]()
Committee you bring up?
How do you explain that this same Committee had 865 billions sec teams last season?
What’s their formula?
All sec teams have to be in. Everyone else, WE the committee is in control.
the cutoff is around 40 in the NET to be considered for an at-large. There’s only 7 B12 teams that are Top 40 at the moment.
Got 2 schools that are close:
42-TCU
50-Baylor
So who from these bums should be in the field?
60-OK State
69-Colorado
70-WVU
73-K-State
91-ASU
94-Cincinatti
131-Utah
Oklahoma state.
Maybe?
You can argue bias for the one or 2 schools from the SEC that are marginal around the cut line. You can’t argue with those whose metrics are clearly Top 35/40. Literally arguing against math. lol
We all know that the pro sec bias is there. Last season clearly illustrated it.
The ranking is an equal joke.
Rankings have nothing to do with bracketology. The math is the math.
