Has he ever indicated that coaching might be in his future?
I would think he would go into coaching but what would I know.
I donāt think he has the character to be on TV these days.
Unfortunately networks would rather get a Pat McAffee to sell viewership than a guy like Case.
I just meant he may have interests outside of football heād rather pursue like any of his business endeavors, charitable mission, etc.
As it should be. Thank you for your service.
I could not disagree more. Every time he is on tv he immediately makes himself likeable, positive, funny all while having a great delivery. Case is made for playing, coaching or be a broadcasting star.
Hmmmmā¦Case leaves and Stroud regresses.
Chicago, Case arrives and Williams starts improving.
I donāt think TCoog was insulting Case, it is just that the networks donāt seem to be looking for Caseās personality type for announcers and they are more interested in the Pat McAffee type as that is what sells. If they want reliable, affable, and engaging then they might consider Case but they may have plenty of those types already.
Tom Brady is the polar opposite of McAfee
Correct, though heās Tom Brady. I love Case but his name doesnāt carry the weight of Tom Brady.
Yep, that is exactly what I mean.
Exhibit A
Baldo Thomas and Charles Padildo, thereās a couple experts. Very proud of Case heās had one heck of a career.
Tom Bradyās voice is completely unlistenable. He sounds like somebody from Toronto doing an impression of a scene in Good Will Hunting but he canāt keep the bad rendition of Robin Williams and Matt Damonās accents separated.
If only there was an affable, euphonious, omnicompetent gentleman who is a legend in sports broadcasting that would be a good model for what Case could do in the booth if he wanted to. Hello, friends.
Every time I have watched Case on TV he came out as:
Sharp, funny, quick, great delivery and more importantly explained the game well and made it engaging. While he was playing for the Rams he was a radio guest from time to time. He is still playing but when he retires I could 100% see him on TV. People that watch games do want an engaging personality while knowing what he is talking about. Its all good.
The mistake youāre making is thinking the networks will give us what people want. They donāt, they give you what sells. There is a difference.
If Case wants to do tv or radio or both, I hope he has the chance and I expect him to be good at it. I just donāt know that in the sea of potential color commentators and the limited number of jobs, that he will get the notice from those who make those hires. Hopefully, Iām wrong, if thatās what he wants to do.
Mistake? I wrote that Case would be a natural at being on TV. Indeed Case will do what he wants to do.
Any chance someone can change the title of this thread? It brings back bad memories of how the Texans treated him and isnt anywhere near accurate
Done.

These Texans idiots, because they are the definition of who an idiot is are watching their biggest investment looking like he has seen 11 sasquatch going after him. The bears are sending a message to the Texans idiots and that message isā¦THANK YOU.
Kevin Kolb got the career Kevin Kolb deserved.
ā¦and may you get what you deserve
