Cedric Lath 6’10 C - 2023 Red Shirting Freshman

Francis needs to work on some things. He’s got to be able to last a half without fouling out

Looks like Carl Malone.

Who’s he?

Is he Karl’s brother?

Kidding John B.

We better be careful or the NFL is going to come calling.

All Cedric need to do is shoot a 1000 mid range shoot a day.

How is he this built as a freshman?!?! Lath might get on the court sooner than expected if he can play defense and rebound at the next level.

I’m thinking CKS feels comfortable just using him as a big body down low if we can’t get a quality transfer big.

He need a out side move, and a in side power move

Gonna need bigger jerseys…

That is a GOOD problem to have…

Looking at the video referenced above, he was stroking FT after FT. Hack a Shaq would be an easy 2 points. I don’t think we have any worries about a big guy.

Can he be the surprise breakout player this year?

He is a physical freak of nature.

Can he be? Yes.

If McFarland continues to gain weight at this rate I think he will pass up Lath this year.

he is probably already ahead of him … jarace and terrance were initially ahead of sharp despite the early entry

talking odds? probably not… put it around 2%

he only recently started playing ball, on top of that was a backup in HS/AAU, not counting sampson only interview about him noted he might be multi-year project

the chance of him being a breakout are probably not realisitc… but there is a chance he might be zanna type player… we arent using him for any skills just pure muscle… his role is to be a boxout threat, and the guy who pushes lowpost threats outside the post before they can shoot… and the occasional wide open dunks…

Honestly, that would have helped out last year’s team a lot.
