…Or getting a lot of technicals for hanging on them!
Was it mentioned on here that Lath is good friends with D. Thomas?
They’re high school teammates.
You were saying RW?
He’s right at 6-10 according to CKS. Our staff measures the kids ourselves, so we know the facts, not the recruiting services’ numbers. If he was 6-9 and is now 6-10, he could still be growing. One thing I do know is that our strength and conditioning program will build him up and make him stronger. We will develop him to his best potential while he’s here. The longer he stays, the more he will develop. Some kids have left earlier than they should have and another year of development would have helped their pro chances tremendously.
???
It is tough to get a 7’0" player, I do not know how Arizona got a team full of 7’0".
Too passive
I’ll take a 6’-10" and/or 6’-11" player coached by CKS over a 7 footer coached by any other program.
And - this is worlds better then the days under Penders - where we would struggle every year to have at least 2-3 guys touching 6’7 or 6’8 [that could play more than ten minutes a game before fouling out with 4 turnovers].
Penders had great guards - but with maybe 1-2 exceptions, we had absolutely zero on the inside, were always over-matched in my opinion. If Penders would have had the front-court size that Sampson has consistently brought in - his teams actually would have notched a few tourney wins and hung around in the lower top 25 from time to time… he did it all with guards.
You can’t coach height. Is that the saying?
As the young man develops no one is going to bully him around the basket
Carlton any day and twice on Sunday.
Carlton was awesome. What a steal he was.
But he had to be developed and he was…should be an eye opener for any big…and I think we’re seeing that now
Hopefully, we get all 4!
This was on Ced’s instagram
6ft 10 and 260 lbs, is what he says he’s at
His recruiting profile said 235 lbs.
*Breaon Brady was listed at 260lbs
*Chris Harris Jr was listed at 255 lbs
Betting he will be close to 240 by August.
Brady is one of the more underrated athletes we have had. He was north 280 at one point but left us in great shape.
We knew this was coming, but I think it’s gonna pay huge dividends for him (and the team).
