Kind of how I feel. I don’t expect him shooting much at all so anything other than flushing and swatting will be icing for me. Btw he looks awkward like a 7’5 guy when dunking. He hardly has to leave the floor.
With Jojo would love to see a fr version of Fabian White with a midrange game. The rest of his game will be more explosive like Bo Outlaw type paint presence. Though we didn’t see Bo until he was a JR.
Javier is basically going to keep swatting shots and be a more consistent physical presence. On a lesser team would have more scoring chances but I think we see flashes of faceup drives with a continued development of the baby hook and drop step. I already think he has come miles as a finisher and is underrated in that capacity on this board.
No one of should underestimate the impact a healthy J’Wan can have as an offensive force and rebounder. We haven’t seen that version often. He is our best player and leader.
Our standards are high but in other seasons Lath would have been getting bulk minutes. If he needs to play a few min I am not concerned. I am not in line that we will match him up over any of the top 3 bigs against anyone but he is there as a safety net.
One of my bold predictions this year is that Francis will be much more of an offensive presence than people think. He’s not going to average 10 a game, but I think we’ll see more legit post moves than we’ve seen in the past. Not just lobs and put backs.
Looking at the Arkansas and Kansas exhibition game and the fan support. We will again embarrass ourselves with the lack of fan support on Sunday. We are just f lucky that somehow we got CKS to be in any kind of conversation for the best team in the country.
In my opinion this is the key for us winning a National championship. Sharp improved doing this the last six weeks of last season. Can he take it to another level? Cryer? If they’re primarily catch and shoot we’re not winning a title.
