On CATS, Monceaux said he played with it wrapped in the 2nd half, but it hurt too much after one play. He came right back out of the game.

Quick Google says it’s nothing good he’ll definitely miss some time. If it’s tendonitis not a ton of time. Obviously ligament damage will be a different animal
The way he was holding it made me think it was at least dislocated. He was in pure agony.
If it locked its ligament or tendon related and a steroid injection snd rest should do it. But if its a tear we lost a good player.
When he went to the bench, he sat there for a minute in obvious pain, then went back to the trainer to get the tape cut off and put a real brace on. That dude was hurting.

Yeah, I get it - I was just pointing out that after that one play, even having the wrap on there was continuing to cause him pain. He touched the ball one time, immediately passed it back and was done.

It was so crazy because he just shot tye ball and then it looked like his wrist locked up kind of like when you get a cramp in your foot and it tries to make a fist…
Hopefully, he was just dehyand it was some weird fluke…
Side note… the shot was way off, too… but banked in… wonder if that was why… I know it’s his non-shooting hand but something was way off there.

It was super-weird. After it happened, I was sitting there taking air shots trying to figure out what could have done that. 
My shooting form is obviously not elite enough.

I mean if you look at the replay it sure looks like #24 jams McCarty’s wrist on the shot block attempt after he’s released it. That dude was being an overly physical goon all game.

Any way you can post a short video clip showing the shot block attempt that may have injured McCarty’s left hand?

Anyone have any update on McCarty?
I recorded the game. It looks like 24 might have hit his left wrist, but it didn’t seem egregious or super aggressive. It looked like he barely touched him even if he did touch him.

It wasn’t dirty, just always annoying as a shooter when you get a hard “high 5” from the defender when it’s not necessary

Seems like the kind of thing that should result in a foul call, at least.
But it looked like he made contact with his shooting hand. Still confused about what happened.
