Chris Cenac Jr

Don’t make me pull receipts… there are plenty of hate posts on JWalk… even this past summer.

Where did you think he would be drafted after Game 1?

JWalk was projected to be top 10 before he came to UH and after…

I agree Snacks looked more confident in game 1 and his outside shot looks better although JWalk’s shot was nice, too…

As far as playing the forward position from what I remember JWalk looked better offensively and defensively down low and was extremely underrated by many on coogfans his entire season here on defense.

I’ve been on the Snacks hype wagon…just saying their debuts were pretty much similar.

For the record I was on JWalk’s hype train, too…

Their numbers were similar, but the eyeball test was different. I think part of that is that Cenac is playing with other freshmen, where JW had to fit in with an older group, but it doesn’t take much imagination to see Cenac starting in the NBA, because there aren’t a lot of guys like him.

Cenac is much more refined offensively at this point than JWalk.

Walker was a project? That is news to me. Hmm

It shouldn’t be because that’s exactly what he was going into the draft and that’s exactly how it has played out.

That’s how the NBA draft works, they draft on potential

Any other B12 guy’s projected in the lottery?

The one who is on right now, Petersen for Kansas, Dyb in BYU.

A couple others who are really good fr at Arizona and Baylor.

Pretty stout

IMHO, JWalk did not look as fluid athletically as does Cenac. Keep in mind I have only seen Cenac play in two games, but to me, he moves as well as a guard, while JWalk never moved that fluid.

Idk all that… but I know CKS put JWalk in iso at the perimeter all season…

And we’ll see plenty of iso snacks this season I think…

No doubt. I’m interested to see how his passing develops over the season. There could be a lot of assists and easy baskets.

Captain Obvious’ thoughts on the Auburn game. Cenac is a DUDE! All his talents, that so many have raved about on this message board, they were all on full display vs. Auburn. He can score down low, off the dribble, and beyond the arc. I’m a believer.

Waller has had 5 years in our strength program, if Cenac would stay a couple of years, which is highly doubtful, his strength would improve greatly.
