Chris Cenac Jr

He’s on loan to us for a year… NBA teams have great S&C programs, too…

Yeah, I know; but you can never tell with an 18 ear old kid. Go pro at 18 or 19 and you’re too young to rent a car* or legally go to the clubs with the team.

*I know they can call a cab.

He can just build his own club in his basement… lol

He’ll be so rich he could just park a car in all the away cities…:rofl::rofl:

What I would hope all of these teenage millionaires would do is to get a reputable financial advisor, like a Fisher Investments, and have them invest in a wise portfolio. I really hate to see guys play in the NBA for 10 or more years, making tons of money and a year or two after they retire, they are broke. Of course they should keep out enough each year to live very comfortably.

Talking about Jarace

He should work very well with Tugler as the High Post player at the FT Line, Tugler near the Basket.

He can shoot. Cannot ignore Cenac.

You didn’t mention Jarace in your comment. You posted:

“Not as strong as Walker but a much purer shot. Cenac has great handles and will eventually be able to score inside or outside.
Much bigger upside than Walker IMO”

How was I to think you were talking about Jarace when you wrote about Cenac on a Cenac thread? You have a lot in common with my wife who will say something about one thing and I am supposed to know she was talking about something else.

I was answering an earlier question concerning a comparison between Jarace and Cenac…But I can certainly see where you could get mixed up about the two Walkers lol…It’s all good

Any chance Chris stays one more year and tries to go top 5 next year with how loaded the draft is this year and with where he is falling in draft projections?

No chance

Nobody is passing on first round money to stay in college.

In the highly unlikely event that his stock fell to the second round, then maybe there’s a discussion, but still probably not.

Even if projected at 18-25?

Money is significantly different there and 1 more year getting paid in college vs 3-4 years on a rookie contract that will pay him 5-20M less over that time than being a top 7 pick

He’s projected just outside the Top 10 right now, and you asked if he would come back to make a run at the top 5. That won’t happen.

There are too many uncertainties in turning down a $20+MM payday (even at #18) to roll the dice on a bigger payday.

And if we wanna keep landing guys like CC, him getting drafted in the first round helps.

I remember Jarace was projected outside the lottery early his freshman season.

Still alot of time to move up the draft boards

Big opportunities vs BYU, at Kansas, at Iowa State, vs Arizona.

True. Shortsighted to want him back another year. Agree that he could shoot up to top 7 again as he gets better this year.

But I do think one more year with CKS and his ceiling makes him one of the few who could legitimately consider it if he is somehow at 18-25.

And shoot he could be Bosh/Ware 2.0 with the Heat.

maybe 10% but its more likely we see him return than flemings lol
