I remember one time at Hobby I saw the UH soccer team board the same type of plane the basketball team uses.
No, I don’t think so. I believe it’s a private jet. Not the big Boeing ones either. Maybe it belongs to a donor? I think they fly out of Sugarland.

I’ve seen the volleyball team fly out of Hobby a few times when we were in the AAC, but that was because most AAC teams are in large metro areas with bigger airports.
With the Big 12 schedule, places like Ames (Iowa), Manhattan (Kansas), Stillwater (OK), Morgantown (WV) would most likely have smaller airports with short runways requiring a smaller plane to land.
A billion dollars goes a long way. Let him pay lol.

The man says he needs a private jet and a pilot, get the man a private jet and pilot. Add it to the athletic budget so all coaches have access to it and spread out the cost. Could be another weapon for the football team also.

Is there a list of the wealthiest UH alums? Shouldn’t we be targeting these people for donations ? In all honesty, Tilman won’t be around forever.

The answers are yes UH does, and they target the BMDs so often they are probably on speed dial. And that’s the problem. UH does not have a big enough group of BMDs to spread out the requests.
UH has to go outside the BMD community if they want to expand their donations.

And the donor pool is shallow - very shallow.
TF does have a few jets. Maybe he would make the school a deal for limited usage.

Those things cost as much as the FC remodel. Also, I remember Willie Fritz flew to the introductory presser on Tilman’s plane. Wonder if CKS can use that.
