I thought he had one
 wasnt it in the contract??

Maybe he does and he was just explaining why?

Context: Coach Sampson answered my question regarding his involvement in the planning and logistics for the Players Era Festival.

Will didn’t include that in that tweet.

Luckily we paid him millions.

He can rent a private jet to go after select “big fish”

If we’ve now gone big time, he needs to decide how to use his time and money and the decision to use that money to possibly make more money.

Its an investment in himself

You seriously think he should use his own money to fly private to recruit kids?

@UH1927 if he was using the private jet for vacation purposes or personal business, sure

But, for recruiting. Especially in the days of NIL/transfer portal Coach Fritz & Coach Sampson both need a plane to do their job effectively

Im surprised thats not apart of the athletics budget already

Would a swag copter work?

This administration is looking more like a clown show everyday.

If our alumni doesn’t start stepping up this whole thing is coming crashing down, we can’t compete in this high stakes money game anymore, and with the way our alumni doesn’t support and come out to football games I think we are in big trouble maybe the big 12 money will save us??

I’m doing everything I can lol!

I can’t buy him a private jet but the sad reality is that most UH alums do not have generational wealth or come from old money like the other schools.

Majority of us are first generation graduates who came from nothing.

They could at least go to football games and fill the stadium like other schools lol

Hopefully he’s not mad that Calipari and McCasland are getting to KingstonđŸ˜©

This isn’t an administration issue as much as the years of athletics being funded at G5 levels and not a larger enough donor base. So many priorities, not enough money. It’s a matter of priorities.

CKS is covering up a lot of our defencies financially being a Hof coach. He definitely isn’t recruiting on a level playing field so hopefully it gets better with the big 12 $$ coming in. Not sure if the athletic department is built for the big time but I’m supporting as much as I can.

We don’t start getting full B12 payouts until 1st half 2026. UH will have to make it happen with current revenue

The line has already started for the additional money.

KSGR Sugarland runway is 8,000 ft, Hobby is indeed 7,600 ft, and Chicago Midway is a little less than 7,500 ft. The Boeing 737 requires a runway of at least 6,000 ft.

They charge a lot for those crab legs at Landry’s. They can afford it.

:rofl::joy:
