NIL is not the problem at UH according to posters like @SamHouston1
I didnât say it wasnât a problem, only that we are recruiting well in football without having a big NIL program. Doesnât mean having one wouldnât be very beneficial.
Or, do we have a bigger NIL than people are assuming? Based on some posters opinion, we only have enough money for a #2 combo at Chick Fil A.
Sums up our fanbase and administration
What, you mean people got all freaked out about something that wasnât really true? Say it isnât so.
It appears what CKS is asking for the Basketball Department to lease a private jet. Chris referred to the company NetJets, and the cost for 25 hours/yr with at least a 2 year committment, the cost is $250,000/yr. Unused hours carry over. Link below to the 25 Hour Lease Program.
To me, this is a budgeting issue that the coaches need to discuss with the AD.
Thanks for posting this. Clears up some questions I had in my head about this. Yah we need to get this done for coach and the rest of the athletic department.
This seems like a little bit of hours if he goes to the west coast. Idk why they dont just give it to him.
I was under the impression our athletic department used Tilmans jet when needed? I feel like I remember seeing that somewhere before.
am I making that up?
I have some uber creditsâŠ
Coach could have been a little clearer to be fair. He mentioned NetJet points but didnât simply say that we need our own account, it definitely sounded to me like the school needs itâs own plane. He was clear that it wasnât just for him though.
As with most anything else, the cost per hour reduces with increased usage. I will let Nunez figure out if football should share with basketball, each have their own, or have one account for all the athletic coaches.
I donât think football is at a point yet where flying around the country makes much financial sense.
Barbay shouldnât be anywhere near a jet until he can put a field goal on the score board. Make him bike everywhere.
Iâd be OK with him getting on a jet to somewhere else.
