Even though people complain about him waisting his redshirt, I bet he still was happy to play in that bowl game, and even if he didn’t burn it that year he is going to be gone at the end of this year to the NFL. I’m glad he got the experience in that first bowl game.
Clayton was also at our fundraiser (Champions Kids Camp). Good kid!

That’s why I’m not sure if Carter starts, he was coming along last year before he got hurt. But we saw what happened when he did and how Dell went insane in the slot. We added so much talented on the outside with Brown, Manjack, Golden, Jackson. Will be interested in seeing who wins those last 2 WR spots
ok so the 4 other finalist were Will Levis, Anthony Richardson, Liam Thompson & couldn’t recall the 4th. Clayton said Cooper was calling the event & was talking like a sudden death round likely before Clayton got his turn. and then was no sudden death as Clayton nailed the targets. besides 1,200 campers in the stands, there were 6K locals who bought tics to watch the show and the 44 QBs standing behind him. No pressure! just like moving the chains on 3rd & long!!

I posted a picture I got with him at a basketball game with him. Memphis I believe. It wasn’t a burden but an opportunity to make someone’s day. Kid has a great mindset.

He is gonna be an even better in 2022 than he was in 2021, because now he is a senior, and we will get that great senior leadership to go along with all his other talents…All these QBs who are getting millions from NIL…Tune is better than ALL of them…Keep that in mind.
