Probably. Don’t know about taking the demotion otherwise.
The coaching business is all screwed up when guys take a demotion for a pay raise.

I can see why. More money, better recruiting, more NIL, better competition, less responsibility, higher profile conference, ability to build the coach’s network. Some make it sound like this is the last job Linder will have. This is a calculated career move for something better.
