The Hoover event is now the best one in the country, IMO.
You have a team in Hoover? We will be there in 16u.
Yes sir, 17U……San Antonio will be there!
Awesome, looking forward to it. First time going to this WWBA.
Ugh. Would hate to lose a guy with those kinds of numbers and that kind of power. Would be great as a DH or Catcher.
Regarding Jendras, I saw this:
Seems highly rated, but I noticed he plays for a prep boarding school that plays the likes of Choate-Rosemary Hall (Choate is the alma mater of some of the Kennedy political family).
Thanks for the updates fellas, keep 'em coming
Is a sad trombone sort of like the “Whaaaaaaaamp…Whaaaaaaamp” from Debbie Downer?
19 6-A POY. Looked good against my sons team. That stinks.
Yes.
And there will be more of those. Typical when there’s a HC change.
Jayden Stewart, Sr, P (4-1, 2.12 ERA, 39 K/1st Team All District Relief Pitcher/Houston)
bummer
Seems strange to me….kid was pretty much guaranteed a starting spot on a Big 12 team….if it was a money thing he never would have committed….very disappointing.
He’s losing way more than are staying……the guys being lost are not the type of guys that would be told to move on.
I find it concerning that after talking to these guys( which he said he spoke to all UH players on the roster and recruits) they are jumping ship.
Of course you expect some to do that….but again, the guys that would likely be starting but are still choosing to leave is disappointing.
As a player when you have a spot on a Big 12 team no less, you’re taking a big chance that you are gonna move into a better situation….
Especially with Jackson hitting the portal. My only guess is he sees that the new HC is bringing his catcher with him but this guys numbers are too good to not be in the lineup somewhere.
As I suggested above, I wish we could retain him as an every game DH, if nothing else.
