We have an amazing group of receivers….if he chooses USC I won’t be heartbroken……now if he was a big ugly that be different.

But if we beat out a blue-blood like USC, then just imagine what it says about our potential to recruit top talent!

We have beaten quite a few “ blue bloods” this spring for several recruits….but your point stands.

He posted this on his Instagram, so hopefully that means he is trending in our direction.

Seems like much more than trending.

Yeah I’m a little confused. Matthew Golden Lucas Coley and others are commenting things like welcome home. And making it sound like this is a commitment? Not hearing anything from Rob or anyone else.

They are probably just hyping him up but I wouldn’t be surprised if he has already subconsciously picked us. Hopefully USC has to absolutely blow his mind and he’s just double checking his options. If he joins us we will have three four star wide receivers on the roster! (Matthew Golden, Sam Brown) The Big IX better get ready for us…

While I see the appeal of USC and Lincoln Riley who recruited him to OK, they have a ton of WR talent coming in.

Three WR P5 transfers from the portal for 2022. All are HS 4 stars including Mario Williams from OK - #4 overall WR prospect in 2021. (Also playing baseball at USC)

Already have two 5 star WRs for 2023. The #2 overall WR and the #3 overall ATH - his bio “Signs point to playing receiver in the long run.”
3 Texans in this class. Two are 4 stars.

Possible he is waiting on his spring grades from Okie ?

After a trip to the LA area if he decides to go there we didnt want him anyway. Choosing to live in LA right now is a very bad choice, particularly where USC is located.

They showed him the beaches nearby and he can live off-campus a few miles away. I totally get why kids want to go spend their college years at any of the LA area schools.

Fingers crossed.

If they showed him Venice Beach and he is still interested I stand by my first statement. The parking at all the beaches is ridiculous, particularly the beaches close to USC. LAX is nearby so he can count the non stop airplanes on their flight path just south of campus. The location of the 1992 riots are just a hop skip and a jump across the 110 freeway from the campus as well. Downtown homeless camps are probably within walking distance

So many sites(homeless camps) to see when you visit LA

You can see homeless camps under the elevated portion of 45 just east of I-69 next to Pierce in downtown Houston.
