Saw this on IG
Joe Young, Damian Dunn. Those (2) I’d probably leave off.
All but Young and Thomas are Sampson era players
Young and Thomas never played for Sampson.
Correct. Hence the “All but”.
(2) not on that list.
*Galen Robinson Jr
*Damyean Dotson
Galen confirmed last night. Hes retired from playing basketball. Congrats Galen on a great career ![]()
Kind of crazy that Francis is getting a longwe look from the NBA than J’Wan…
But he does have better measurables…
JWalk had a day on Monday… 21 points on 5-6 from 3 against the Pistons.
Has anyone seen Sasser?
I keep seeing Sasser’s hip impingement as the culprit.
76ers are making a Quentin Grimes realization they should’ve known all along 76ers are making a Quentin Grimes realization they should’ve known all along
Sorry to say this but Walker’s struggles were predictable. This is a good example of how being a 1 and done can be detrimental to development. There wouldn’t have been any guarantees but he needed two more years developing in the UH culture. He needed to keep sharpening the iron of toughness and learning how to be an alpha on the court. He by passed the tools he needed and now you see a player who doesn’t play big and just stands on the perimeter waiting for threes. Walker is only going to be serviceable from NBA range at best, not a marksman.
@RWcoog true. And same thing possibly for Cenac.
Usually it takes (2) years in our program to develop those great habits
If Grimes left after 1 yr at Houston. Hes not the mentally tough player, that he is today. In my opinion
Hope Jarace figures it out. His rookie deal is almost up
its crazy that you think college is the only place this can happen.
Walker is progressing just fine. its so odd that you all are writing him off and he’s having his best NBA year. 28 minutes per game compared to 16 last season. 10.5 pts/gm from 6.1. a lot of his percentages dipped because his use rate went waaay up and you all look at that like thats a bad thing. Hes shooting 11/23 from 3 in his last 5 games (48%) and 50% from the field. He’s doing great its time to stop thinking he’s some kind of failure. He isn’t. He’s steady progressing. Its insulting to keep acting this way.

@ehog hadn’t watched a ton of Jarace lately. But, i did see this on X/Twitter mentioning Jarace
33% from 3pt on the season. Not terrible. Still 22 yrs old
Month of November he had a:
*21pt game vs Detroit on 11/25
*Also an 0-10 shooting game vs Phoenix on 11/13
He went through a pretty terrible stretch, but he’s getting the chance to work through it.
Well by all means stick to that graphic for the rest of his career
That’s not what I said but for JW I think it was more beneficial to stay in terms of development.
He also has 2 years of NBA salary to help salve his wounds.
