That’s almost the line we had against Okie Lite
I hope this isn’t a typical “Coog it” game.
That’s the problem. The Coog It follows no pattern. Its wrapped in chaos theory. But Willie doesn’t seem like the prototypical Coog It coach.
Well with the passing of the coach, and Halloween Friday night who knows how we respond early Saturday morning
I don’t think any of the coaches, staff or players will be out trick or treating.
Coogs need to watch out for this kind of rat poison. Stay focused
No Friday night
party ? ![]()
That’s not a thing…
I felt 10 points was about right. 15.5 has me thinking that’s way overreacting.
2009 UTEP says hi (shudders).
I’ve been watching Cougar football since 2005. It very much is a thing.
honorable mentions 2011 USM, 2015 UConn, 2016 Navy
I hope our team ignores all the positive stuff going on, because if they show up thinking cake walk, we will get a nasty surprise.
The Blackout game next week, honoring Coach Hester, will be see a very motivated, ranked (but disrespected) Coogs team that could play with the kind of tenacity that results in another “statement win”.
I’ll go on record and say…
Coogs 41 - Mountaineers 17
We will win by 19 or so.
You are definitely new here.
The ghost of Coog it past
You are definitely new here.
Which gives me a clearer perspective about the ridiculous notion that the past is ANY reflection of what Willie does, and is doing now.
While I appreciate the insight of Coog Fans who’ve been there through all the ups and downs over the decades, the “chicken little” attitude that comes along with it runs counterproductive to what we are ALL witnessing, first hand, RIGHT NOW.
When I first started posting on here during Willie’s first year, I was one, of very few, who told you loyal, long term fans what to expect.
I was ridiculed and dismissed by many (if not most) of You. Time is proving me right, and I encourage you all to let go of all the superstitions and pain of the past and recognize what we have NOW, as Coog Fans.
There’s not a coach in America that’s a better fit for the University of Houston, and we are all in the early stages of what will be known later as “the glory years”.
Welcome aboard…
2016 Navy gets too much flack. That team went on to win what was then the toughest division in the G5. 2016 SMU, though…
We are going 11-1 baby!
