Put whoever sold their tickets to a Longhorn in a cage with a real live cougar (not the old women) and try to escape.
It would make for a great halftime entertainment.
I have built in excuse. As long time loyal UH supporter by having season tickets or worse case going to gms for 50+ yrs , I’m not an Alum ( just t-shirt fan) so I can do whatever I want to w them.
Lovely…gonna be like the old days getting being outnumbered in our own stadium. The more things change…
I can already hear “texas fight” drowning out anything we do from sideline to sideline. Way to go for the rest of us who plan to attend. Gonna be such a fun gameday experience. Don’t bother to try and find a Cougar buyer I guess…Thanks guys.
It will be fine. Just a messg board w people having fun on both sides. There will be 5k of UT fans no matter how you slice. Just like when Baylor comes to TDECU … count on 3-5k Bears Alums in the stadium. The positive far out weighs any of the negatives that go w being part of New BIG12.

Edit: I’ve been to too many to count Athletic events in my lifetime n one of the most Electric atmosphere I’ve been part of was 2009 – TxTech vs UH Football. What made it electric… yes the gm was bk n forth but all Tech Alums all around where my wife n I were sitting. She was little nervous abt the drunk ones but nothing negative happened .
I have that in my Top 5 all time events of all Sports I attended.
Time to Show up!!
I already have over 10 UT friends or family asking for tickets. My 6 season tickets won’t cut it. Ticket office said I can increase my numbers before anybody new. I’ll have around 10 at least. Might cost me 5k or more…
Tell ur UT friends to Kick rocks, we don’t need a bunch of Tsips in TDECU, we will be the laughingstock of the big 12 again, our fan base is something else, this is why we have been kept out of the big conferences for so long and here we go back to the same old sh$t, UH fans will never learn
Lol. Well you know there are quite a few more UT fans in this world. even my UH fans are coming out of the woodworks. I can’t take care of all these folks.
This all depends on if I am a student here (PhD) next year or not.
If I’m not a student, then I’m coming with my season tickets. One for myself, the rest for family members (in Houston, divided between Coogs and Horns). If they’re not up for coming and want better seats/buy their own, then I’m selling them on the open market for a bit of profit (at least cover my tix overall). Hopefully they go to Coogs. I can always sell them here, for a smaller bit of profit, but not outrageous.
If I am a student, then same thing applies, but likely will go to open market anyway.
Should there be a penalty? Look if you charge a bunch of cash and a whorn will pay up, they will. If you find Coogs to bring along, do it. So not much of a penalty.
