I agree with that.
My one in person NHL game was a Caps v Senators game in DC over a decade ago.
It was a BLAST!!!
So much better than TV hockey broadcasts.
My four IHL/AHL Aeros games were also fun!

Everyone in DC takes the DC metro trains to the NHL games because there’s a stop right at the arena.
On game night, the entire train is dressed in Caps red, mostly in “Great Eight” (Ovechkin) jerseys.
I bought one myself at that game which I still have today.
