Who is covering this team aside from the Chronicle? Zero chance I’m paying four dollars a week for the Chronicle. The lack of coverage during a coaching change is insane.
You can get it on promo for $.99 for 6 months
He can flex an analyst to be on-field each game?
That’s how Beamer did it
The list has 10 on field coaches which is all that is allowed. It also has the S&C coach Fritz brought over from Tulane. I think the S&C coach is not a mistake.
You can have 10 on field assistants which doesn’t include S&C coach.
If the entire list is above, he could have one more.
I thought the ten included the HC
Football staffs can have 12 coaches total: Head Coach, 10 assistant coaches, and 1 S&C coach.
Still need one more defensive assistant. If we run something like a 4-2-5 then expect another DB assistant. Currently have 5 on field offensive and 4 onfield defensive assistants.
Looking at Tulane two deep from 2023 they show
Offense:
QB
RB
TE
3 WR
5 OL
Defense:
DE
NT
DT
DOG standup De
Anchor hybrid safety/Lb
WLB
MLB
2 CB
2 safety
Sounds much like we ran.
IMO having HCWF’s son on staff looking over recruiting is huge. The entire family is involved in our program. Any program facing a “squad rebuilt” is envious of our “family set up”
Reminiscent of Coach Sampson’s Family set up in UH BB . Great model for achieving success .
Go Coogs !
Picked up a Special Teams coach
Houston: Sources tell FootballScoop Mike Krysl’s title at Houston will be special teams coordinator. Krysl has been with Fritz since the Georgia Southern days.
Did he stay with Tulane for their bowl game?
And CDH with his son Logan setting up our NIL deals. Well, can’t bat 1.000 I guess.
Tommy boy Holgorsen running NIL.
Only thing better was Dana complaining about how crappy UH NIL was. Definition of self fulfilling prophecy
i’m guessing this is made official. He was talking to players on Our behalf as early as Dec 14.
Seeing Zac Etheridge is returning. I wonder in what capacity.
