I think Brian Early has as much to do with our improved defense as Belk does. Early has been key to recruiting good talent and putting a competitive defensive line on the field.
We need to keep Early happy as long as possible.

Coach Belk and Coach Early are the real deal. They are Cougar treasures and must be protected at costs.

In today’s college landscape, it’s almost impossible to protect/keep good coaches.
You can only hang on to them as long as you can.
@ 4:45 Belk was talking to Miami about their DC job. Buyout discouraged things. ($750k)

We’re p5 now so unless he wants a head coaching job , we should now be able to match.
Not close to getting P5 revenue yet.
Edit: I know of no signing bonuses that were given in Sept 2021.
