Early expectations

Koziol and Conners stepped up big, but having Boogie hurt was a big loss to the offense. If the offense can reload, we can get back to 9 wins with CW as QB1.

I’m either going to Boulder or Morgantown

10-2. And trip to conference championship game.

Could also see us winning every game on the schedule. Or losing 1 more.

Range from 9-3 to 12-0. 10-2 sounds right.

I don’t see us losing to Utah. We NEVER have

12-0 is acceptable…

A sure sign that a coach is doing things the right way is when his former players return to the sidelines to support him and his team…

…regardless if they played for him there, or somewhere else.

Agree mostly, but Utah is a coin-flip. There’s no idea how they’re going to do with a new coach, but @Utah is a tough environment.

TTU has our number right now, and until we prove otherwise by taking a game, that’ll be an L no matter the circumstances.

10-2 regular season, 11-3 overall.

Minimum 2 ranked teams on the schedule, with a likely 3, and possible 5. This will take us to a Big 12 Championship were we play a game with TTU/BYU, and a CFP appearance. UH wins one of those games, ending the season 11-3 ranked at #10.

I like the prediction.

It’s in the range of my “expectations” as well.

Floor > 8 wins
Ceiling > too early to say

Last year my floor was 7 wins. If the new players didn’t pan out. Or we had a rash of injuries.

My ceiling was 10-3, and I nailed it.

I’ve raised the floor by 1 for the upcoming season, but just can’t make a real prediction on a ceiling until after Spring Ball and Fall Camp.

If all goes well there, the sky’s the limit IMO…

All I care is that we win the game in front of us.
All I care is that we excel at fundamentals.
All I care is that we have players that give 100% for their teamates.
All I care is that we play every game, every snap like it was the last snap.

We beat TT next year.

I prefer the Coogs beat them “this year”…

The goal is to make the CFP this season coming up. Coach Fritz has this program hyped up going into his 3rd year as coach, that’s for sure. Coach got some transfer portal studs on the Oline & Dline. All we asked for as fans is to feel we can win any game in our schedule. In the past with lack of depth & talent you knew we were huge underdogs in some games in our schedule. This season coming up just feels different. Also… With Keisean Henderson being the back up i think he’ll play his fair share of snaps, too! Exciting times!

I assume he means this fall’s season which I think we beat TT.

I knew what he meant.

I was just trying to add a little humor.

I still suspect the Coogs will be underdogs, but if Vegas gives the Coogs points, I would take that bet.

It’s really a great time to be a Coog Fan…

Utah will be interesting. New staff, new lines, lots of skill players coming back.

Two games jump out at me: 9/19 @ Texas Tech. We will go as that game goes. If we can win that one in Lubbock we could win the Big 12. 10/24 @ Utah. That one could be played in a snowstorm and if we lose that one we could lose the Big 12.
