Epstein Files (No politics or DOJ website links)

And the RW mothership is not covering the new files dropped.

Of course they are not protecting the victims and many will go after the victims and somehow blame them.

Oh this is awkward, the new pick Kevin Warsh for the Fed Chair makes an appearance in today’s Epstein Files release.

Wonder why Warsh’s wife’s name is redacted?

Thats a question for DOJ and it will make for an interesting hearing.

After meeting with Jeffrey Epstein in 2005, Howard Lutnick said he vowed to “never be in a room with that disgusting person ever again.” well its confirmed he was at Epsteins island as well.

Other notable names

Richard Branson
Bill Gates
Elon Musk
Steve Tisch the owner of the Giants.
The current president

There are still millions of pages not released. This is the G rated version of what awaits

You know, I can give the benefit of the doubt to some people who went to the island prior to 2006 or so, when his first FBI investigation happened. Maybe they didn’t know the whole deal and went because one of their rich friends told them it was a fun party. Now if they went back, then I’m becomes difficult to see them as anything but willing participants, or at least complicit in keeping the whole thing quiet.

The whole thing is just so disgusting. I know that not all rich and well-connected people are basically terrible, but proves that there are a bunch who are.

Is that the only president?

I’m hoping the DOJ questions Kathy Ruemmler during the interesting hearing. The post about Warsh was a big nothingburger, a list of men and women invited to a get-together, and not at ‘The Island’.

Clinton’s name was already out if that is what your insinuating.

Kathy Ruemmler who served in the Obama administration has lots of explaining to do as well.

I want all of them brought to justice, including the sitting president if its true.

I will not rationalize or defend anyone named.

Yeah, I don’t know if I’m ready to assume that any “get-together” organized by Epstein was just good, clean fun, regardless of the location and guest list.

You’re throwing a very wide net then. Doubt you would want that to happen to anyone you knew. I wouldn’t want that if it were me. There’s a reason I asked about Warsh’s wife.

In millions of pages? Be sure to furnish us with your list if you would please.

She worked for Epstein for 11 years, even up until his death. I believe she’s culpable in the character assassinations of the Epstein victims and in their unsuccessful attempts to seek justice while he was still alive. And if we’re to believe rumors and innuendo, as done throughout this thread, she may be guilty of a lot more.

The facts around the guy warrant that. I’m not worried about a wide net, because I’m not entangled in any of that stuff. If anyone I know was, then that’s on them.

And all I said was that given Epstein’s long and proven history of sex trafficking, assuming that parties he hosted were cool as long as they weren’t on the island is a reach. And his initial prosecution proves that the island wasn’t the only place this was going on.

Anyone is free to give him and his circle the benefit of the doubt. I won’t. Bad people don’t become good people depending on the venue.

Understood. I’ll leave you alone, from here on out.

I’m a criminal justice major; UHD. I look at everything through those goggles. Facts>emotions. People have their minds made up, as you do. There are many of those hundreds or thousands of people mentioned in millions of pages of documents who are guilty of nothing. Who knows how many more should serve jail time? It says more about our justice system’s failures over the 20+ years than anything else that the responsible parties were never brought to justice.

I’ve actually worked as a public defender and experienced how the system works. Don’t need a lecture about it, for sure.

My mind is not made up about anything except that his entire social orbit is suspect, especially during that time frame. I didn’t say we should throw everyone in jail if their name shows up on the files - not sure why you’re talking that leap.

I want to believe we are on the same side of this. Abusing, trafficking, raping and murdering kids is wrong and those who enabled and helped cover it up should be held accountable as well.

The information and pictures regarding Prince Andrew merit a significant investigation.

It could be more than that. There are what I would consider to be “normal” failures that happen because of understaffed or unqualified investigative staff, errors in evidence-gathering, etc. Some people also see it as a failure when someone who seems guilty either isn’t prosecuted or gets acquitted, but that’s not necessarily the case - that’s a feature, not a bug. :slightly_smiling_face:

Regardless, I have a strong suspicion that what’s happened in these cases aren’t failures, but go much deeper than that because of the people involved and their connections. Whether it’s simple corruption or it’s tied to something more broadly related to some kind of government actions, I don’t know. I wish I had confidence that there would be a legal reckoning, at some point, but that’s hard to see right now.

That’s why I mentioned the (hundreds or thousands) people named in millions of pages of documents. They are not all in “his circle”. In no way am I defending his inner circle or giving them the benefit of the doubt. Is there a reason you wrote it as “his circle”? You implied guilt by association, of “his circle” or “inner circle”? As a public defender, why would you throw such a wide net? That is what the prosecution would do. You said personally, you weren’t worried about a wide net. As a public defender, you would never say such a thing in an official capacity.

I was speaking specifically at the time (to someone else) about Kevin Warsh and his wife, whose name was listed in an innocuous email. That is where you entered the conversation, where you replied, to a reply, to a comment, I specifically made about Warsh.

You just got silly - not interested in playing a gotcha game or arguing with you about what a public defender or prosecutor might do. I didn’t imply anything - you inferred it because it fits whatever argument you want to pursue. Charge on.
