Assuming the FBI investigation and resolution in ~2008 was public, then anyone who got an invitation to one of his island, boat or whatever parties should have known who they were dealing with. These weren’t office parties or post-church happy hours. If someone I don’t know invites me to a yacht party, I’m damn sure going to look into who they are. And people who already knew him were definitely on notice.
So anyone who joined him for one of those parties became part of his circle. Doesn’t mean they’re all criminals, but if they chose to do that despite knowing his background, well…
And FFS, I just said I wouldn’t assume his parties were good clean fun. Would you assume they were?

What I do know is that I’d never knowingly go to a party hosted by people who were sex traffickers. Whose teenage daughter paid for those fancy appetizers?
With your public defender hat on, how do we know that Kevin Warsh or his wife, Jane Lauder, even went to the outing? If people’s names were on the list, but were redacted, do they get a pass from public scrutiny? Are they also subject to guilt by association?
I brought up Warsh and I have no idea if he is guilty or did anything wrong but as Coogman points out Epstein was not an unknown and there had long been speculation about his taste in women and behavior. It is also hard for me to feel bad for him or simply others who got named, the DOJ did almost nothing to protect the names of the victims and the victims are being abused again by having their names out there.
I mentioned it would be awkward for Warsh during his confirmation hearings if he makes it that far. Hearings are not courts of law and he will likely be asked about his association.
Other things that are being shared is whether or not people are compromised and potentially being blackmailed by Russia or Israel due to their relationship with Epstein.
If you end up with several people who are compromised in positions of power a foreign goverment can really extert some pressure.

I heard Condoleeza Rice speak about him yesterday; she’s known him since she had him as a student, many years ago, and spoke about him in glowing terms. That is ALL I knew about him, but I’ve started reading up on him. I’ll take Condoleeza as a character witness about Warsh over anonymous posters in a sports forum. We’ll visit the Kevin Warsh confirmation later.

I made an observation about Bill Gates; people made light of it, but I didn’t accuse him of diddling the little girls or guilt by association. I laughed at his misfortune because he gave vaccination advice. This has definitely evolved into a political discussion and will remain so.
I don’t think anyone made light of Gates. His sexual choices caught up with him by getting an STD from a Russian hooker and trying to hide it from his wife, I have always felt Gates was a bit of a scum bag despite the philanthropic image he has tried to currate over the last few years. I am not sure what it has to do with vaccines nor do I want to know your position on vaccines.
I too respect Rice but do we really know people? There are 2 versions of everyone their public and private sides sometimes they are the same but what people do in private may be quite different than who they are when others aren’t looking.
What has been surprising in this thread is the silence from the Q crowd and the red hat wearing posters who have nothing to say now that 47 appears more than 1000 times in the.newly released documents.

How can you scrutinize a name that has be redacted and isn’t known? I guess you can look at the Sharpie color or something.
And anyone can be thought of as being “guilty by association,” but that isn’t necessarily criminal. However, if you don’t want to be associated with sex trafficking, then don’t associate with sex traffickers. Pretty simple, really.

Every rumor, claims, innuendos, verified depositions, lies has been admitted in this case. Hence the millions of documents. What we know for sure is that a certain someone paid $M’s to destroy a certain someone’s reputation. It did not work but the mainstream press gladly went with it. To this day millions still believe it to be true. Whatever is being released. Until a court of law tells me this individual did this or not and with proof(s) I won’t fall for it.

We all know that don’t we. I just like watching @rtcoog justify what he deems political and what he doesn’t, comical. I’ve seen him go around with you and others, before ever posting on this thread. Even locking one of your threads after one post that was far less political than anything written here.
I’m here at the basketball game, got my popcorn, ready for the pregame hoop jumping. There was a list of rules that I can’t find rn listing all the “words” not approved. This thread has violated every one of those not approved language.
There was clearly some anger there.
I do feel like I’m pretty objective. Given that both sides stay upset with me, I think that shows I’m pretty close to right.
Ok. You ask for lots of things. I accept a good amount of them.
This is about everyone involved. And this was promised. Glad we are seeing a chunk of the docs and hope to see more. Put it all out there and let the chips fall where they may.
