Everybody clap your hands

I usually don’t mind this, but it was too much during the tek game. Never heard the Ramones a single time.

Whomp whomp…that is all that is needed.

If we keep winning games at home, let’s keep clapping :clap::clap::clap::clap: our hands :raised_hands: :raised_hands::raised_hands::raised_hands::raised_hands:.

Go Coogs!

No DJ my god would ruin the experience

I am not trying to…but I see some major potential for…an uprising.

I’m gonna need NIL Funk… I don’t know if they’re ready, either… :sunglasses:

If I’ve said it once I’ve said it a thousand times…

The simple chant “U of H, U of H, U of H, U of H, U of H” would be easy, loud and effective.

Are you talking about the Lauren chick who hosts the Rockets game now?

My friend and I have been joking about “Everybody Clap Your Hands” for several years now. We usually have a pool as to how many minutes into a game (any game) until we hear it the first time.
It usually isn’t long.

This chick?

That time I beat Deebo in a skills challenge at a Rockets game and won a Clint Capela autographed Rockets official game ball…

I would prefer Everybody Clap Your Hands on loop over Lauren Leal hosting. Chinedu is so much better and seems like a really good guy.

Can one of you loan them your Jock Jams cassette?

Agree. Also, I saw recently that Chinedu does standup around town if anybody’s interested. [I am not Chinedu or his agent.]

Yep that is her.

I used to see her around campus during my years at UH.

She hosted our football games when TDECU just opened in 2014.

I’ve been irritated by the “Everbody Clap Your Hands” thing for years. @ Astro games too. I suppose it’s all over. Anybody know where it originated?

It was written by Ludwig Van Beethoven

I attended a Miami Heat playoff game back in the Lebron era, they had a DJ and it was awesome, but that is much more suited for the NBA.

Yes. Sometimes in the heat of the moment, the Band plays Eat Em Up way too fast. I’ve always thought that at the right speed, this chant should be easy for EVERYONE to join in. And could be very effective.

The cha cha slide song.
Minute 2:30 in the video.

I don’t mind it but we don’t need it every time the other team turns the ball over…
