oh man, this gets tiring; but I’m not going to let you label me; you read something I posted years ago that is factually true and defamed me with it; that was incorrect.
In the case of the original post here by me on this subject I had proposed eliminating all holidays to allow us to choose what we wish to spend our time on; currently we do not have that and yes, I do place greater recognition on the american veteran for who the western world may not currently exist without over american blacks. How that means I have some aversion to anyone in your mind, I do not know; you are free to keep it there; please do.

interestingly enough, the veterans are related to that too, the pre-ww2 build up and then the following ww2 boom of the usa was to support the vets in the war then so much of the usa producing to rebuild europe after ww2 where american vets saved them.
If it helps you can think of Juneteenth as a celebration of day that American soldiers delivered the news that the United States had won a war to end slavery.

Yes, the GI Bill fueled an era of prosperity for White veterans.
Black veterans were routinely denied housing and college education benefits afforded to White veterans.
