The major difference is that Duke can back it up. They won five UNDISPUTED National Championships, part of 11 National Championships games and went to 18 Final Fours. uta does not even come close to Duke.

Wins and losses arenât the sole determinate of who hates who. Haughtiness, greed, and wielding political and financial power are major players there. Most hate UT because of those 3 more so than their records, although the records a re part of it. Dukes record, which has resulted in their haughtiness, has a lot to do with why they are hated.
