Is it just me or is the Fertitta Center experience this year not as good as before.
For example, I see no beer carts, dirtier restrooms, Chick Fil A doesn’t have a tent like last year etc.
What are y’all’s thoughts?

Yeah… that lack of a tent really irks me.
I’m hoping the drink carts return when conference play starts. Everything else seems normal, I like that the burger and chips place has a dedicated spot in the concession area now.
All I care about is what is going on on the floor. And that continues to be a great experience
Yeah I’d say it’s due to it being early in the season.
The experience is not great. Hopefully it improves.
No more all arena free Whataburger!
Concessions are still weak. Had one of those big pretzels tonight. The jalapeno kind. It wasn’t great for the $9 I spent. Also got a hot dog. Looked for decent beer and could not find any. Reluctantly got a Hopadillo. (Where’s the Art Car?)
The crowd was ok for an early non conference blowout game. But not much energy. Cant wait for conference games.
Left early in the 2nd half and ate dinner at my favorite bar near my house.
Crowd tonight was very meh. Concessions have been meh all year. Probably the worst I’ve seen since FC opened. All this for a preseason Top 5 team.
Meanwhile the concessions at TDECU have never been better. So odd.
Way over priced concession that are not worth what you get. Hoping new AD looks at the concessions and some of the pricing that makes no sense.
Email Kelly Marchbanks!
For an arena that carries the hospitality guy’s name, you would think that concessions would be top notch. At this point, I would settle for edible. Do they realize that concessions can be a profit center if run correctly? As far as game presentation, the light show is entertaining. Let’s face it…Fertitta Center is all sizzle, and no steak…literally.
And some how the team shop has even less merchandise now. UH needs money yet they refuse to stock merchandise people are begging to buy.

Apparently you can’t have a bad time there
If they would have had milk I would have bought those crumble cookies. Otherwise, it’s almost irresponsible to pay the prices they charge for stuff.
This is what’s so crazy about the concessions and team store situation. People are loving the program and they’re ready to spend money at the games. Make it easier.
^^^^^^^^^^^ THIS…100% agree. How difficult is it to stock THE TEAM STORE when the TEAM is playing a home game? SMH.
The traffic management was much better today.
I went to the bookstore last year and was blown away by how much Nike and other quality stuff they had… so I asked them why isn’t this stuff at the games and the employee said “someone just grabs stuff and takes it over there.”
I took a spin through tonight and so much of what they have is garbage in my book. Maybe they’re trying to provide stuff at various price points, but I kid you not, they had last year’s Sweet 16 shirts for sale. My guys, please donate those to Salvation Army.
Meanwhile, I just saw ONE piece of blue merch and it said “football” on it. Inexcusable.
It looks like a garage sale in the team store. Whoever is in charge must want a champagne program on a beer budget.
Boggles my mind how the name Fertitta can be on that arena and hospitality is so meh. Reminds me of how the TSU concessions blew us out. Wish we could get local beer on tap not just ABinBev. I’m sure there are contracts and all that legal stuff. Wish we had better variety. I would actually spend good money on drinks and food.
I had
chick-
fil-a tonight at the FC
