Fertitta Center Experience

Raising Cains gone, too

All year? 2 games . . . . .

iI feel they should throw out Chick-fil-a sandwiches instead of t-shirts . . . . .

My thoughts exactly Butch. I was about to post the exact same thing.

Red, you do know the experience would be so much better if the cameras were on the student section the entire game . . . . . :joy:

I don’t know Ben; but I think it’s better to see the play on the courts than the students in their seats. But that’s just me.

And how many times in one game do they play “everybody clap your hands”? It is awful.

Only sheep clap their hands. I don’t do what I’m told. I’ve escaped the system

The food selection isn’t great but they do have Hugo’s at Fertitta for the folks wanting good food. The chips at Miss Patty’s are top notch.

Back in my day no one had to tell us to clap. We just did it.

The FC timeout and halftime games are probably overdue for an overhaul. Some of them have never worked (blindfold game to find the bucket) or just old now.

The team store is really a let down. I really need to understand why there is no jordan brand gear….

Or the two for one Canes chicken lol

Don’t mess with the Grand Prize Game, aka throw the basketball in the trash containers. I also like half court shots from the fans. The Cougar Dolls will have their dance routines.

That’s enough for me. Why does every second of non-basketball require some high energy entertainment? Sometimes, we need to catch our breath, go to the restroom, or socialize.

I need that UH Hockey jersey!

Canes backwards is senac, which is the same as Cenac…

Coincidence? I don’t think so.

My thinking is…

Just like those terrible jerseys early last season.

That they’ll get it fixed by conference play

The food options, probably not. Not enough time to make major chances

Red - serious sarcasm intended in my post

The sad truth is there aren’t more options because we aren’t buying.

$10 for souvenir drink. We have a great business college and hospitality college yet they cant figure out how to create a sense of value for a cumstomer to buy an item, you dont just double the price between a regular and souvenir drink Also noticed the popcorn buckets are smaller this year but the same price. Fans are not buying because thsoe in charge dont understand how to create the sense of value when pricing concessions You think being a university they could figure out supply and demand for pricing.

This ain’t the 80’s. College sports is just as expensive as pro sports. Our concessions are the same price as the Rockets, Texans, Astros and even Dynamo.

This is Exhibit A why we limited food options and the other guy can’t buy his Art Car.
