I agree either a firing or a demotion is in order. I have never seen 8 quarters of shutout FB in the modern era of college FB

Our OL is disgraceful / unqualified. Probably could not block four 70 year olds like me at 168 LBS. Very sad.

That last interception Smith literally had all day to throw and threw it in the hands of the Iowa State defender. For this game, the offense line did ok.

Agreed, we only gave up 1 sack. This was much better than against UNLV when it looked like we could not make a block. He just stares down the field and telegraphs the ball. It like no one is running a play or knows what the route is going to be…

He had #6 wide open in the middle of the end zone.
In Smith’s defense, I saw #6 jogging on every single play and giving no effort. Smith probably didn’t expect to see him out there.

Nah. He will be gone by season’s end if not sooner. Last night’s game coupled with the fact that he didn’t have Smith clock the ball before the final play at OU is all you need to know about Barbay.

If that’s the case they need to send the QB coach with him too. Smith and Chriss have been playing horribly and have not shown they can read a defense.
Let the DC call the offense. Probably has a better grasp on college offenses than Barbay any way.

I think Barbary will be gone. Fritz keeps saying in Pressers that it is on me and the coaches. He was pissed during the presser.

And you can’t go 8 quarters without scoring. And he seemed embarrassed about the wristband comment.

Its been reported the staff is not in agreement on play calling and strategy. Fritz called out the play calling after Cincy. So where you are getting this “its excatly what Fritz wants” bs

When Harrel arrived at UNT their scoring went up 10 ppg.
Their QB TD:int ratio went to 27:5. And they averaged 5.6 ypc from the running game.
The next year the an ended up with over 4000 yards passing and 3800 yards passing.
The next year was better with the same a throwing over 4000 yards and 31 TDs.
Their top RB had 1215 yards rushing and 18 TDs.
Not sure they are an up temp offense, but maybe he could kick some life into this O. I know CWF likes to burn clock, but our OC is not cutting it and Harrel needs a job.
Bring him in as a consultant. Do something! Lol
