Bro it is a race against the clock like it or not.
TRULY RIDICULOUS! Sick of reading this idiotic 2 conference malarky, because it wont happenâŠSEC wont go beyond 16 because they dont NEED toâŠThey totally dominate everything now and there isnt a reason to add anyoneâŠ16 team playoff? 5 from SEC, 4 from B1G, 4 from Big 12, 2 from ACC, 1 from G5âŠESPN/Fox are way more likely to want a P4 situation than a P2âŠ
I agree. The SEC would need to add eight teams. Even if they added 2-3 like FSU, Clemson, and NC, I have a hard time believing they can come up with 8 that would fit the SEC profile.
Same goes for the BIG. Next year theyâll be at 18. That scenario requires them to add 6 more teams. What teams would they seriously consider if FSU, Clemson, and NC are off the board?
Miami is now AAU. Kansas? Seems like they couldâve added them long ago if they wanted them.
ESPN just killed the P4 by not inviting an undefeated P4 CHAMPION into their invitational playoff.
Not only did that school go undefeated against P4 conference foes, they also had 2 OoC wins against the high and Mighty SEC opponents including a drubbing of LSU early in the season.
ESPN is about to get what they deserve IF the courts approve of FSUs dismantling of the ACC.
Should have invited FSU to the playoff!
FSU didnât have a win as impressive as Bamaâs over Georgia, nor did FSU have a win as impressive as Texasâ over Bama in Tuscaloosa.
FSU didnât beat the best SEC schools, as Texas and Bama did.
And then thereâs the overall top to bottom unimpressivenrss of the ACC schedule, conparatively speaking.
Another reason why FSU wants out. The ACCâs comparatively sucky strength of schedule kept them out of the playoffs.
As for 24 teams, again, even if UNC and UVa went to the B1G, theyâd only be at 20. Theyâve already said no to Kansas, Utah, and other Big 12 AAU schools. Likewise, they already vetted GaTech and Miami and issued no invites.
And if UNC and UVa both went to the SEC, youâd still need to add six more teams to each conference.
FSU and Clemson donât have the AAU membership that is unofficially required for a B1G invite, so theyâd better hope for an invite to the SEC; an invite which may or may not be coming. But again, even both of them plus UVa and UNC went to the SEC, that would only get the SEC to 20.
So 24âŠâŠI donât see it.
Of course the B1G would take ND if it had the chance. Weâre that to happen, theyâd surely add one other school just to keep an even number.
But again, thatâs only 20.
At this point, NDâs desire to remain a football independent and have a place for its sports other than football is probably, quite literallly, the only thing still holding the ACC together.
I thought the guy from the committee said they kept them out because of their backup QB. (Douchey rule)
Monte every sign is pointing to a P2 even the tv analysts are pushing it. Why on earth do you think okie and mad cow disease u located in Austin went to the sec?
Agree. This why lawâs argument is dismissed in juvenile court. The entire malarkey/idiotic point was about the injured FAS QB. Even though these same cfp idiots rated FSU fourth after he was injured.
The juvenile court is not happy with these arguments law. They have better things to argue on.
Except that UT and Bama both had SOSes in the Top 20.
FSUâs was dozens of places lower.
Thatâs it.
Being in the ACC cost FSU a shot.
Being in the Big 12, by contrast, did NOT cost UT a shot.
It is what it is.
The cybercoog court of appeals, upon further review, has overturned your ruling.
FSU also didnt have a loss to a 2 loss non conference champion participantâŠTexas did
OU is ranked 12th last I checked.
Give it up.
By being dismissed you canât bring it back. Nice try.
Dismissal overturned on appeal.
If the charges WERE dismissed, the issue is whether they were dismissed with prejudice or without. If the former, they cannot be brought again without production of new evidence not available when the charges were first brought.
Are you bringing up more charges? Then which ones concerning FSU?
New evidence was produced.
SOS scores.
You already brought that up. Prosecution did not anticipate therefore case dismissed. Next.
The numerical proof hadnât been presented.
New evidence and exhibits in the record.
You already brought it through your initial filing. Does that mean the prosecution did not do their job? Case dismissed. Next. Court canât be responsible for bad/incomplete prosecuting.
When is the FSU BOR meeting?
Isnât it this morning?
Talk about a Friday media drop, and right before the holidays!
Nope.
The exhibits hadnât been presented yet and werenât a part of the record.
NEW evidence.
