Being in the program for 1 year at the quarterback position as a redshirt freshman is not exactly “waiting your turn.” Dana needs a solid 1st season in the BIG12 next year to keep people off his back and he would be wise to bring in a very capable experienced quarterback to compete and potentially win the starting job next year. Coley could be the guy or he could not be the guy. Hasn’t seen enough reps to say either way.
Our offense is explosive again and with the entire offensive line returning along with plenty of weapons out wide and in the backfield, our team should actively recruit the QB position this off-season to ensure we have multiple capable signal callers heading into next season.
Keenum was a 2 star actually.

Why anybody on this board has any faith in CDH’s recruiting is beyond me. I expect to take a serious step back if we are depending on CDH to do any work.

Sure hope it giveth more than it taketh away… it’s difficult to talk to my kids about who is returning because I only know who is eligible to return. I want to be excited about having some of these guys back next season but I have no idea who is going to hit the portal.
