From the rotation we lost LJ, Jwan, Francis, Mylik all who’d been here multiple years and are replacing them with really talented guys, but they are kids who have never been here or haven’t played until now. It’s gonna take awhile for this team to gel and look like the Coogs we are used too.
@pesik Harwell took that early 3pt in the shotclock.
And Sampson called timeout & chewed his butt out
Thats why Harwell was passive for rest of the game. I agree though, you hope his confidence isnt affected
All good analyses. Shout out to McCarty who had a nice game on both ends. You could see he’s been in the lab for a year. One complaint is that he passed on a number of open shots and he’s supposed to be “better “ than Sharp.
McCarty is gonna be a problematic matchup. I think he’s going to be a much better version of what we looked for in Arceneaux.
Speaking of TA. He played 10 min w/zero points and isn’t high on the depth chart at NC STATE.
It’s early.
The crowd was great. Someone said earlier, the first half felt like a conference game and I agree! Students were terrific! Keep it up.
This team is definitely a work in progress. Guys still figuring out their roles. Young guys still learning what’s a good shot and what you can get away with at this level. My only concern is Sahko has to figure it out off the bench or that could be an issue. Great environment tonight and loving some of the new traditions by the students.
If…he can stay out of foul trouble
The student section was full with some SRO behind their section with the band. They were loud and having a lot of fun. That keeps them coming back. I was proud of them.
Nothing happening on that til February. Sampson Ball!
I was very happy to see Emmanuel increasing his driving in the lane tonight. If he is clean with no or very few offensive charge calls against him it creates 2 points, or 2 points plus a foul shot or 2 foul shots. I like it.
Did Sakho bring this with him from Sam?
Sharp slimmed down some more, so he’s quicker and can drive better.
I wasn’t really impressed by Sahko. He’s probably trying to figure everything out as well with a new team and all.
Harwell needs a confidence boost. I’m a little worried as CKS already said he expects him back next year. Maybe he’s found in practice that he has a lot of work to do? Maybe still recovering from his injuries.
Flemings and Cenac were both great in the first quarter of the game, but then went fairly quiet.
Need more action from McCarty.
Was hoping Mercy would take a big leap. He is very skilled offensively, but it’s not translating somehow.

Totally agree. Hoping to see Emmanuel continue to drive as he did tonight. Good things will happen if he does not get called for offensive charging.
Auburn with a 38-9 FT advantage at home and still needed OT to beat a SWAC school.
I want that win.
Did the bald ref call a single foul on Lehigh? He was egregious.
go Coogs!
looks like no minutes from:
Bryce Jackson
Cedric Lath
Jacob McFarland
are any of them hurt or redshirting?
Jacob is recovering from injury. He had surgery a month or two ago. No timetable for return.
